FIRST VISIT
Know what to expect before you walk through the door.
Your first appointment is unhurried and conversational. We take a full history, assess how you move, explain what we find, and agree on a plan together before any hands-on treatment begins.

Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a hands-on approach to healthcare that focuses on understanding how the body's structure and function work together. Through a detailed assessment and gentle manual techniques, osteopathic treatment aims to identify and address patterns of restriction that may contribute to pain, reduced mobility, or impaired function. Every treatment is individualized, supporting the body's natural ability to adapt, recover, and move with greater ease.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy combines evidence-informed assessment with skilled hands-on treatment to help reduce pain, relieve muscle tension, improve mobility, and support recovery from injury or everyday physical demands. Whether your goal is rehabilitation, stress reduction, or maintaining an active lifestyle, treatment is tailored to your individual needs to promote lasting health and well-being.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy helps restore movement, improve strength, and reduce pain through a comprehensive assessment and personalized rehabilitation plan. Using a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education, and evidence-based treatment strategies, physiotherapy addresses the root cause of injury while helping you return to the activities that matter most with confidence and resilience.

NEW INJURY GUIDANCE
PEACE & LOVE
If you have experienced a new injury, a standard rule of thumb is to apply ice within the first 24–72 hours, then follow this widely used framework for soft tissue recovery.
PEACE
FIRST 1-3 DAYS
P — Protection
Protect the injured tissue from further damage for the first 1–3 days, but avoid complete immobilization unless medically necessary.
E — Elevation
Elevate the injured limb above heart level when practical to help limit excessive swelling.
A — Avoid anti-inflammatories
Routine use of NSAIDs is discouraged immediately after many soft tissue injuries because inflammation contributes to tissue repair. Evidence is mixed, but many clinicians now avoid automatically suppressing inflammation.
C — Compression
Use an elastic wrap or compression sleeve to help manage swelling and provide comfort.
E — Education
Tissue healing takes time. Passive treatments alone are unlikely to accelerate recovery; an active rehabilitation plan is usually more effective.
LOVE
AFTER FIRST FEW DAYS
L — Load
Begin gradually loading the injured tissue within pain tolerance. Progressive loading stimulates healing and restores tissue capacity.
O — Optimism
Psychological factors matter. Confidence and positive expectations are associated with better recovery outcomes.
V — Vascularization
Introduce pain-free cardiovascular activity — walking, cycling, swimming — as appropriate to improve circulation and recovery.
E — Exercise
Progressively restore range of motion, strength, balance, coordination and functional movement.
